The most popular ways of getting to Buckingham Palace are:
By taxi. It is one of the easiest ways to get there, because any black cab in London is able to take you directly to the Palace.
By car. There is no public car parking at the Palace itself, but there are public car parks nearby, in Arlington Street, and an NCP car park in Carrington Street, both about 10 minutes walk from the Palace. If you want to drive close to the palace, you will need to pay the congestion charge because the palace is within the London congestion charge zone.
By train. London Victoria is the nearest station to the palace (National Rail Enquiries Service 08457 484950 (UK)).
By bus. Bus numbers C10, C1, 211 and 11 all stop near the Palace.
By coach. Victoria Coach Station is a 10-minute walk from the Palace. Visit the Transport for London websitefor maps and information about London Underground and bus routes.
By tube. There isn't a dedicated Buckingham Palace tube station. Fortunately, all is not lost, as there are several tube stations within walking distance: Victoria tube station, St James's Park tube station,Hyde Park Corner tube station, Green Park tube station.
